It was raining so hard this morning that not even Bean would come out with me today. I'd planned for Gowlland Todd but ended up at Mt. Work instead and climbed to the summit through a forest-scented soup of warm fog and rain. I ended up drenched from head to foot but was still too hot to wear more than one layer of clothing. A proper summer morning in the rainforest! I left the Nikon at home, so all of these photos I took on my Samsung phone.

Wow- gorgeous photos! I'm going to have to get me one of those phones...

Anonova, you photos are so beautiful! I love your carving as well, I have bought some blocks and someday will get to carving them. I recently purchased a rubber stamp making kit and I hope to make some stamps of the antique lace I have used in ceramics. Sorry I have visited in awhile my head has been lost in the clouds lately!
well as the actual temperature here today was 96 I wish it was raining. Your walk looks so refreshing, jealous!
Beautiful photos! Love your art too! Where is this beautiful place you went hiking?
